Relaunched women’s leather handbags for an iconic brand that wanted to broaden their accessories. Evening bags was a big focus to wear with their signature dresses and formal wear.
Designed a relaunch of Bruno Magli women’s handbags set to debut Holiday 2019. Incorporated signature hardware with Italian exotic leathers to create a luxury line built on the heritage of the brand.
Hired to direct all handbags, soft accessories, belts, cosmetic cases, and tech pouches. Helped to launch brand identity through signature hardware and materials as well as key silhouettes and styles. Worked closely with the other departments to tie together print and color palettes.
We consider the BCBGeneration girl to be BCBGMaxazria’s younger sister. This non-leather line has more of a youthful, fun, and casual vibe.
Helped create and launch the handbag line due out Fall 2017 in all domestic and international stores. Designed and spec'd signature hardware, branding elements, key silhouettes. Selected core materials in both leather and non-leather. Assembled trend decks and designed styles to help elevate the Gift with Promotions(GWP's)/Purchase with Promotions(PWP's) department. Items vary from totes and weekenders to jewelry and candles. Created elevated travel collections and new core silhouettes for VSBA(international) to be sold overseas. Record breaking sales and highest grossing years to date. Key items include the Fashion Show fringe backpack, Black Friday sequin tote, and beauty launches. Also, designed the new beauty utility belt store associates will be wearing at all retail stores beginning in 2016.
Utilized the beautiful prints from the design house of Christian Lacroix to design youthful and fun bags/accessories.
Worked on handbags and clutches for the women's Spring/Summer '14 line with reported high sell-throughs. Also, designed a small capsule collection to help launch canvas/leather soft accessories for the men's department.
Patented my collapsible neoprene Fisherman’s Tote design that initially sold out within 24 hours. Designed their signature neoprene pouches and totes using espadrille stitching details to tie back to the main line of shoes.
Collaborated with the International Department to design the higher priced and more fashion forward line of handbags to wear with the shoe line. Launched an exclusive leather line for Nordstrom which was featured in their anniversary catalog. Implemented standard materials, logo hardware, signature jacquard prints, and linings. Saw increased sales and floor visibility at department stores.
Helped relaunch the handbag/accessories department to more closely complement the shoes. Standardized the logo and branding while also keeping the line fresh and on trend. Increased the number of doors, new accounts, and trade show figures.
